What Crippled Friends is all about Empty What Crippled Friends is all about

Crippled Friends is a 25 man Raiding guild that is pushing for progress through existing end game content.

We've currently cleared ToC Normal & have only Yogg Saron remaining in ulduar. We ultimately want to clear the heroic mode ToC content as well as pushing for horde mode and achievement content.

Currently our offical raid calendar consists of 3 Main raid nights for 25 man content - being thursdays, sundays & Mondays. We use 2 off days for all 10 man content although the aim is to get this down to 1 night and possible free up the spare night for further 25 man content as required.

Our current aim is to consistantly clear ToC Normal content, Push to clearing Ulduar with death of Yogg Saron, clear the existing hard modes available to raid and opening up alagon if possible. As well as this we will be steadily gear up for the high demands for heroic ToC content as this is very demanding and requires a very strong core raid. Which is what we're now focued on guilding up. Beyond existing content we want to be prepared and ready for when those gates that every raider wants to step through and get our chance to put arthas down in the dirt.

What we're expecting from any one wanting to join or raid with Crippled friends is atleast to attend 2 of our 3 raid nights each week.

Use the in game calendar for signing up to or declining raid availability and informing officers if this can't be done through our forum.

Each player must turn up to the raid fully prepared definition being: - fully repaired; Flasks,Food,Mats all ready and on character for raid, main spec and off spec gear in bags ready for use and attention and focus on raid.

At invitations, players must be ready for invitation to raid not being stuck in another existing group. So that the raid can form and begin as soon as possible. Preferably players should also move straight away to the raid instance once in raid and destination has been given.

Throughout raid, instructions will be given by raid leader or assistant to raid, and instructions, tactics must all be paid attention too. If given an assignment that assignment shouldn't be needed to be repeated if your paying attention.

Throughout the raid, there will be a couple of given breaks for people to grab a drink, toilet break etc. AFKing sometimes can't be helped if need to answer phone as work is calling or need to answer the door, however repeated unexplained afking will result in raider loosing their spot in the raid for that raid duration providing a replacement is on hand. As we want members to understand that going afk leaves 24 other players waiting for you to return, this can cause frustration so we expect players to be sensible and communicate any issues or problems.

We understand also that some times Disconnections can't be controlled. So we are understandable to these issues, however if the problem is consistant then a raiding spot could be at risk as constant Dc'ing can again cause 24 other players to wait great lengths of time for individual members. (This isn't something that will happen over one single raid, but over a number of raids observed, but at all times we will openly talk to any member struggling).

Players must have there gear enchanted, waist buckles applied and such to maximise the efficiency of there character. We also understand that some things cost a lot of gold, but players must also pursue improving there character to best of there ability for raids benefit.

Our current trial period is 2 weeks. So you have to make a good impression first off, listen to advice and clearly what we expect to see from you as a new member to the guild. during this period trial memebers can loot items, however raid members have priority over casual & trial members. This is to bring focus on the need for people to be available for raid content and upholding a raiding rank.

Lastly, we must all remember to have fun as this is a game and its what its here for. All officers/class leaders are here in guild to help, so please any questions just ask. We're all here to help and will communicate anything that needs covering to the masses. Smile

    Kind Regards
